After Angela moved to Switzerland with her family at age 10, she was constantly approached by modeling scouts in the cities of Basel and Zurich. It was around age 18 that she finally determined that she would model professionally after finishing her studies. She signed on to Option Modeling in Switzerland soon afterward. While growing up Angela spent every Christmas Holiday with her cousins in New York and fell in love with the city. She always knew that New York City would be her home. Angela moved to NYC to immerse herself in the world of fashion and immediately began modeling around the globe for top fashion houses soon afterward.

In 2010 photographer Fadil Berisha finally convinced Angela that she should compete for the crown of Miss Universe Albania. So a month before the Miss Universe competition, Angela flew to Albania and won the crown. She then competed in Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada placing 6th amongst the top ten. Angela captivated millions around the world during Miss Universe, and instantly achieved celebrity status in Switzerland and in Albania. She was named one of the 200 most important people in Switzerland in 2010 and in 2011 by Who is Who in Zurich. After Miss Universe, Angela’s visions of success have come to include different routes too. Angela has become an Entrepreneur. She has launched her own business, The Martini Corporation. Currently Angela is creating Martini Bikini, her own bikini line, which is set to launch in 2012. Angela has proven herself with her confidence and her mesmerizing looks and now she is ready to face the fashion industry head-on with her creativity.
